Matilde Cesario

Journalist / London, UK
-

Biography

Matilde Cesario was drawn, from a young age to the visual and communicative dimension of fashion — not simply the clothes, but the way an image, a piece of writing, or a carefully considered aesthetic can shape how something is understood.

Growing up across three countries — Italy, Monaco and later London — in a trilingual, multicultural environment, she was constantly exposed to diBerent ways of seeing, dressing and expressing identity. That early immersion gave her the space to form her own opinions early on and to build a strong, independent point of view on fashion and the way it communicates. Over time, that perspective stopped being just an interest and became a direction — shaping the studies she chose, the projects she pursued and the career she has been building ever since. Now 19, she studies Fashion Journalism and Content Creation at the London College of Fashion, UAL.

Her work sits where journalism, visual storytelling and cultural criticism meet, driven by a wish to push fashion's conversation toward deeper thought.
